Net monthly benefit ÷ answering cost
How sensitive is the result?
Lower and higher scenarios vary the recovery rate or answer-rate improvement by 25%, bounded between 0% and 100% total coverage. Other assumptions stay fixed. These are scenarios, not confidence intervals.
How this is calculated
Extra bookings = enquiries × (target answer rate − current answer rate) × booking rate. Extra completed appointments = extra bookings × completion rate, capped at spare capacity. Net benefit = additional revenue × contribution margin − added answering cost. ROI = net benefit ÷ added answering cost × 100.
Revenue is not profit. Contribution deducts variable delivery costs; net benefit also deducts answering fees. First-year benefit deducts setup costs once. Fractional bookings represent expected averages. A zero service cost has no defined ROI; setup payback is not applicable when monthly benefit is zero or negative.
Estimates are illustrative, not guarantees. Annual estimates hold monthly assumptions constant. Calculations run in your browser; sharing puts the entered values in the link.
